Also known as egg preservation, its goal is to preserve the fertility potential of women in the future, whereby the eggs are matured using medications, and the eggs are extracted from the ovaries and stored frozen for later use. When desired, these eggs are thawed and combined with sperm, and the embryo is obtained and pregnancy is achieved by placing it in the uterus through in vitro fertilization (artificial insemination).
